Dressing For a Job Interview

Physical appearance is extremely important in the interviewing process, it is possible that you can leave a horrible first impression by not appropriately dressing for a job interview, and may directly affect the outcome of the job. When dressing for a job interview, you cannot wear the everyday casual clothes you are use to wearing. There are specific guidelines and requirements to properly dressing for a job interview which include for both men and women:

Specific guidelines for both sexes:

Brushing teeth and arriving with fresh breath.
Neatly arranged hairstyle.
No body odor/good hygiene.
Clean and conventional dress shoes.
Small amount/not gaudy jewelry.
Cleaned and neat fingernails.

Interview preparation is arguably more important than the interview itself, as your interview performance will directly correlate to the amount of time and quality of your interview preparation, and sadly the largest oversight in the interviewing process is being underprepared.

Sadly, according to the majority of people, the definition of being “prepared” means bringing their pen, pad folio, and appropriate attire... but this is far from the truth!

Illegal Interview Questions

Bizarre questions are not at all uncommon during the process of an interview, but what you as the candidate need to look out for are the illegal interview questions. In fact, the bizarre questions are some of the most informational questions that the interviewer will ask and should be phrased in a legal way.
